Distill is a developer conference featuring over 25 speakers showcasing best practices from application architecture and user experience to testing and security. By attending, you will gain a deeper understanding of new technologies and progressive methods currently on the rise in software development. Distill will take place on Treasure Island in San Francisco where you will experience stellar content supplemented by gorgeous views of the skyline and bay. In addition to amazing content, we want you to have an unforgettable time hanging out on the island - picnicking, playing games and enjoying local delicacies and libations. Shuttles will transport you to and from the venue daily and while you're on Treasure Island, stay connected and responsive with great WiFi.
Your day will start with the famous Berkeley Bowl (an assortment of fresh, seasonal fruits for the un-indoctrinated) as well as a variety of other local, artisanal breakfast foods.
We are excited to have Ritual Coffee Roasters doing pour over coffee demos as well as Smitten Ice Cream mixing their sweets on the spot.
Enjoy gourmet lunches outside with a view of the San Francisco skyline across the bay.
On the first day, grab a picnic basket filled with Southern comfort food. On the second day, treat yourself to a farm fresh Italian lunch.
After eating practice some giant chess and bocce with new friends while you soak in the scenery.
Our kick-off soiree, Moonshine, is a nod to the tasty beverages that we will be providing at the Old Mint in San Francisco on August 8th from 8 PM to 11 PM.
World-class DJs will kick out the jams as you enjoy our distillation-themed smorgasboard of hors d’oeuvres and the company of your fellow conference-goers.

The Hilton San Francisco Union Square is the hotel of choice for Distill. We have negotiated a special rate of $219/night for attendees. The hotel block with this special rate has ended but the Hilton has offered to honor our rate if there is still availability.
